About ‘Rhythm in concrete and light’ by Werner Lerooy

Modern architecture does not need to be flashy to make an impression. The façade of the BNP Paribas Fortis head office on the Kunstberg demonstrates how repetition, rhythm and simplicity can combine to create a powerful visual impact. The vertical concrete elements create an almost musical cadence in which light and shadow constantly cast new accents. Depending on the time of day, the façade changes character, without losing its clear design.

By zooming in on structure and pattern, a composition emerges that detaches itself from the building itself. What remains is an almost abstract image in which geometry and texture take centre stage. The clean lines bring tranquillity and balance, whilst the subtle play of light keeps the whole composition vibrant.

As a work of art on the wall, this photograph appeals to lovers of contemporary architecture and minimalist design. It combines graphic simplicity with a warm feel and continues to captivate through its wealth of detail. An image that proves that beauty often lies in repetition, precision and the way light brings a surface to life.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
