This mother and her rhino baby stand beautifully in V formation. We met them in Botlierskop Private Game Reserve near Wilderness in South Africa.
These white or broad-lipped rhinoceros owe their cocoa colour to the soil in this park which is brown-coloured. They are actually grey and therefore not white as their name suggests. That white is a corruption of Wide (wide lip).
So from a higher plain, they can keep a good eye on their surroundings.
