Suddenly - without warning - the mighty animal ran towards our vehicle. For a moment, it took our breath away. But just before it reached us, it stopped and turned away again. A scene full of excitement and respect for this majestic wild animal.
Rhinos are one of the most endangered animal species in the world. They are still hunted and killed for their horns. To protect them, the exact location of sightings is not publicised - because poachers are unfortunately everywhere.
