Westkapelle is the westernmost village on the Zeeland island of Walcheren and is known for its two lighthouses that show ships the way to the Westerschelde. These luxury vacation apartments are located in a beautiful residence, overlooking the Westkapelse Kreek. The creek was created by a breach in the dike as a result of the bombing of October 3, 1944, and the subsequent inundation of Walcheren and has now become a nature reserve with hiking and riding trails and thousands of migratory birds.Great fine place to celebrate vacation, what to walk and relax. From the Kreek you look out on the KNRM station Westkapelle and you are within walking distance of the beach.
