Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.

  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

A pier, a remnant from the Second World War, is slowly being swallowed up by the elements. Hvalfjörður was an important naval base. British and American ships moored here before they sailed in convoys to the dangerous ports of Russia. The base Hvítanes was the British base.
