Sailing to Saint Kitts, the big island of Saint Kitts and Nevis, is the most beautiful way to reach the island. You can get there in a day from other Caribbean islands in the area such as Saba. But of course, you can also take a multi-day - day and night - trip.
The islands can be seen from afar, misty dark green with volcanic mountains above the sea surface. And if you get close, you will discover the friendly, green-brown coast with bright blue bays.
Today you will moor in Christophe Harbour opposite a beach with a restaurant, Salt Plage. Quiet on a mooring buoy. Away from the shore, lovely on your own in the calm waters of the bay. Maybe tomorrow you'll go for a swim, a lap around the boat or snorkelling along the shore. But for now, you're off to the island, for a drink and a wonderfully relaxing sunset. Nothing like a relaxing end to the day after sailing in the Caribbean.
