About "Reflections of silence: A Dutch evening fairy tale"

About the artwork

The photograph captures an enchanting moment when nature, light and water come together in a harmonious whole. An iconic Dutch windmill stands silhouetted against a sky that plays with shades of purple, pink and gold. The setting sun paints soft brushstrokes of warm colours on the clouds, while the looming dark skies enhance the contrast. What makes this picture really special is the reflection in the pool of water in the foreground. Like a natural canvas, the water mirrors the sky and the contours of the mill, making the world seem to double in beauty.

The low perspective draws you deeper into the image, almost as if you were standing on the path yourself, breathing in the fresh air and hearing the gentle rustling of the wind through the grass. The path, partly covered by water, subtly leads to the mill, which looks out over the landscape like a silent guardian. The whole breathes tranquillity, but also a touch of melancholy, as if the day is saying goodbye with a final colourful gesture.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
