About ‘Reflections of bent tree in the fog’ by Erwin van Eijden

During a walk in the fog, I was on my way to one of the ponds of the Leersumse Veld. Heavy rainfall in the months of late 2024 and early 2025 had flooded a much larger part of the field, creating a plain. There the path ended and I had a view of this beautiful scene, trees sticking out of the water and reflecting in the water. This view was an unexpected gift from nature.
I had driven to the Leersumse veld especially because of the fog, because of its fine dreamy atmosphere. the Leersumse Veld consists of open field, water bodies and forest. Enough choice to shoot a fine picture in the mist.

I shoot mainly in nature. As a location, I generally stay within a 30 km radius of where I live, between the Lek and Utrecht rivers and between Leersum and Woerden. Of course, the camera comes along on holiday, which occasionally yields beautiful pictures.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
