This picture was taken on the morning of Epiphany near the valley station of the Alpspitzbahn in Garmisch - Partenkirchen. Normally this picture is not possible at this time of year because the pond is frozen. But in the winter of 2022 / 2023, which has been far too warm and without snow, it is possible.
