About ‘Reflection in the dobby’ by Andre Brasse Photography
Oak trees reflecting in the water of the dobbe on the village square of Taarlo. Taarlo is an esdorp in National Park Drentsche Aa. The water from the dobbe was used to let the sheep drink from. In case of fire the water was also used as fire fighting water. Now the dobbe is 'at rest' and mirrors the trees of the present.

As a photographer, I am mainly involved in nature and landscape photography. I almost always have my Canon camera with me because the most beautiful nature moments often arise unexpectedly in front of you. I can walk in the field for hours and enjoy the scenery around me. The flowers, animals, smells and sounds give me peace and I can enjoy it endlessly. There is still so much to do outside. And I try to capture that nature experience in my photography.
