I spent a weekend in the Belgian Ardennes to photograph. The weeks before, I had been orienting myself a bit about what and where I wanted to photograph. I thought it would be nice to go to Dinant and photograph the church with the mountain behind it from the bank when there would be a beautiful reflection in the water. The closer I got to my weekend trip, the better the weather forecast would get, little wind was expected so more chance for a nice reflection. The day I went to Dinant the wind was also barely blowing so I was hopeful. When I arrived at the location in Dinant it was a setback, the water was moving quite a bit because of all the boats that were there. I first walked up to a boat rental and asked what time they rented the boats and he told me the last ones would be back at 8. The sun set at 9:30 so I had quiet hopes that there would still be a nice reflection in the water around sunset. The further towards sunset the more the reflection came into the water, I really thought this was an amazing sight and am glad I was able to capture it like this. I hope this earns a nice spot on your wall!
