Reflection in 3W's shop window on the Avenue Ceramique in Maastricht. You can see the bars of the windows in black, in the shop window an almost life-size horse made of coloured glass mosaic, reflection of the buildings on Avenue Ceramique, a pink/red mannequin, the 3W logo in red and a green plant in the foreground, among others. The photo has been converted into negative. The whole looks light, transparent, with depth and a colourful atmosphere with a bit of pink, red pastel accents in it. The horse's mosaic contrasts nicely with the rest of the photo, which is quite soft in tones, due to the many somewhat brighter colours. The many layers in the photo create depth which makes the photo beautiful.
Among other things, I like to photograph shop windows and try to give them a colourful, individual and sometimes somewhat surrealistic atmosphere, whether or not by (partially) converting to negative.
The photo fits well in a quiet interior, its colours making it a real eye-catcher. But for the daredevil in terms of colours in an interior, it will also look nice.
