This work is an amalgamation of a photograph of emerging reeds and a one-line drawing of flowers.
Combining and editing photos, which I obviously take myself, and a digital line drawing is a technique I came up with myself and which I really enjoy.
The creative process of editing the photo and then enriching it with the line into a beautiful result is extremely satisfying!
Choosing the colours in the right proportions, often minimalist and greying, is a challenge in itself.
The simplicity of the image exudes tranquillity and the playfulness of the combination of line drawing and photography creates an exciting image.
The details in this work give you reason to see something new every time. You don't get bored of it.
The contrast of the lines and colours make it speak and exciting.
I can imagine it could have a nice place in a Scandinavian or Japandi interior.
My work is inspired by nature, flowers and plants, all the beauty Mother Earth gives us. My personal tribute! Let's take care of all that beauty, and use it with respect and love, nature can do very well without us, we not without nature

I was always drawing ー as early as primary school, the margin of my notebooks was full of scribbles that didn't have much to do with what was supposed to be there. A lot of nature, especially flora.
