This hat is called Nón lá.
A nón lá is cone-shaped. It is usually held on the head by a silk cord under the chin.
A nón lá is often worn on the sawas as protection against the sun. For extra cooling, the hat can also be wetted.
Nón lá (Dutch: strooien hoed) is a traditional hat from Southeast and East Asia. Especially in Cambodia, Vietnam, China and Japan.
