About "Red colour dissolves in water"

About the artwork

The photo shows the moment when red ink penetrates clear water and slowly unfolds. The movement is fluid, almost floating - a process that visually moves between control and chance. The ink forms organic, cloud-like structures that dissolve into darker shades of colour and create an almost meditative depth.

The idea for this work arose from a fascination with physical processes that are both aesthetic and emotional. The behaviour of ink in water is a symbol of transitions - of letting go, of change, but also of inner states becoming visible. It is a quiet but powerful moment that I wanted to capture in this picture.

The atmosphere is calm, almost introspective. The picture invites you to engage with the slow movement and the depth of the colours. It conveys a sense of dissolution, but also of clarity emerging from the chaos.

In interior design, this work acts as a calm but expressive accent. It fits particularly well in minimalist or modern rooms, where its depth and openness encourages reflection - without forcing itself into the foreground.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
