In this work, the quiet power of a red leather coat unfolds – striking, mysterious and surrounded by an almost palpable emptiness. In the style of a well-worn vintage piece, it appears from behind, drawing the eye to the posture of an invisible figure who seems to be wearing it. Both sleeves rest casually on the pockets – a posture that conveys composure, self-assurance and a momentary pause, as if the movement had only just ceased or were about to begin. Painted in a deep, rich red, the coat becomes a symbol of passion, energy and memory. At the same time, it alludes to the leather coat as a timeless, ever-recurring garment in the history of fashion – a symbol of strength, style and versatility that has retained its fascination across generations. In this artistic presentation, the garment is transformed into a projection surface for the invisible, the past and the hidden. The background creates a dramatic, multi-layered atmosphere: black and red tones in the upper section resemble churning mist, whilst dark grey layers in the lower third rise up, carrying the coat’s energy out into the room.
