About ‘Red Kite (Milvus milvus)’ by Ronald Pol

The Red Kite is one of the few bird species found almost exclusively in Europe. The Red Kite hunts small and medium-sized mammals and birds, large insects, but can also snatch prey from other birds of prey. In addition, it is a scavenger. It prefers semi-open landscapes, where it can hunt in agricultural areas and breed in small forests.
