Strongylodon siderospermum is a rare and striking tropical climbing plant native to the Philippines. This plant belongs to the same family as the better-known jade vine (Strongylodon macrobotrys), but is distinguished by its unique flower colour, which ranges from reddish orange to bright red. The flowers grow in large, hanging clusters and attract pollinators such as bats and birds. Thanks to its spectacular blooms, this plant is popular in botanical gardens and tropical landscapes. This photo was taken in Thailand.
