About the artwork

The nude model lies stretched out on the bed on the white sheets and pillow. The woman lies exposed, partly on her belly so that her legs and hip are exposed on the nude portrait. Also the belly, back and shoulder of the girl are undressed.

All in all, a sensual erotic picture with romance.

George Hendrik Breitner (Rotterdam, Holland, the Netherlands, 12 September 1857[1] - Amsterdam, 5 June 1923) was a Dutch painter.

The young Breitner was allowed to start an education and came to the Drawing Academy in 1875, and the following year to the Academy of Visual Arts in The Hague. In between he attended the Polytechnic School in Delft for another year and the Academy of Visual Arts in Rotterdam for another year in 1882. After moving from The Hague to Amsterdam, he attended the Rijksacademie van Beeldende Kunsten there for a year from 1886 to 1887.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
