About ‘Rapids’ by Albert Mendelewski

This photo was taken on the way to Sol Duc Falls in Olympic National Park in Washington state, USA. It is a beautiful hike through forests with tufts of moss in the trees and streams everywhere. This photo shows 1 of these streams coming down between rocks and fallen trees. The setting is fairytale-like and it seems like forest nymphs and gnomes will emerge at any moment. The photo was taken with a slow shutter speed to make the movement in the water visible. The forest is brought into the living room!

I am an enthusiastic hobby photographer who enjoys photographing nature in all its forms, from very small (macro) to infinite landscapes, and all the animals that live in it. Besides that I also like to photograph cities, during the day as well as in the evening. All this I like to combine with travelling, from close by in the Netherlands to the other side of the globe. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
