Rakotzbrücke, Bridge, Germany

There is a dark edge to this perfectly round bridge. At least if the nineteenth century, German people are to be believed. The seemingly innocent Rakotzbrücke, built over the Rakotzsee, has a mysterious nickname. Namely, The Devil's Bridge.
A clever piece of construction work. In the late nineteenth century, architects determined that the bridge in the Rhododendron Park Kromlau in Saxony, Germany, should be a special one. And so the bridge was built so that, combined with the reflection of the water, a perfect circle appears.

Mission accomplished, you might say. But perhaps a little too successful. In fact, only one architect was known who could create such an inhumanly beautiful, but on the other hand dangerous circle and that is Mr. Lucifer, or: the devil.

Choose your days well, if you want to visit the Devil's Bridge. The reflected circle only appears when the sun is in the right position and there is no wind. Also, the position of the water influences the circle...

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
