The sun is shining just above the mountains. The valley is filled with fog. Sunbeams shine through the layers of fog. The sky turns deep orange.
We are on a hut tour in Austria. We trek from mountain hut to mountain hut with backpacks on with daily necessities like food and drink. On the day we are at the Wormserhütte, we encounter a beautiful sight at sunset. The mountain hut is located at an altitude of 2307 metres. So we see several mountain ridges around us. In between, the mist slowly fills the entire valley.
The sun is shining above the mist, creating atmosphere in the mountain landscape. The sky turns from blue to orange before our eyes.
The villages below can no longer be seen. Slowly, as it were, we become a little detached from the world. A good way to unwind.
Montafon is a valley almost 40 kilometres long in Vorarlberg. In this valley lie the villages of Tschagguns and Schruns. The Wormserhütte can be found in this area.
