This picture shows a dried rose floating in water, surrounded by other dried flowers. What appears at first glance to be an image of transience turns out, on closer inspection, to be precisely a silent ode to the life force that remains.
The movement in the water symbolises that nothing ever stands completely still. At the heart of the flower, something is still alive - a memory, a feeling, a force. The soft depth of field, the play of light and water, and the carefully chosen composition bring tranquillity as well as depth.
This work invites reflection: on the passage of time, the beauty of decay, and the silent force that always remains within.
