Queen of the Flower Meadow by But First Framing

A white Scottish Highland cow gazes calmly and curiously straight ahead. Her soft coat, pink nose and dark eyes give her a friendly and almost endearing appearance. Above her head, she wears an exuberant crown of flowers in shades of pink, orange, purple and pale yellow. Small golden details glisten amongst the flowers, giving the animal a festive and regal appearance.

The graceful horns protrude through the floral crown on both sides, forming a beautiful contrast with the rounded shapes of the flowers. The bright green background makes the portrait fresh and lively. At the same time, the simple setting ensures that all attention is drawn to the Highland cow and her unique crown.

The work feels cheerful, playful and warm. It combines the quiet strength of an animal with the light beauty of a summer flower garden. This creates a surprising character that comes across as both proud and gentle. The Highland cow seems to pose quietly for a moment as queen of her own green landscape.

What makes this artwork unique is the charming encounter between nature, humour and decoration. The sculpture brings colour and optimism to a space and invites you to look again and again at the various flowers and small, gleaming details.
