About ‘Purple thistle flowers in the sunny spring light’ by Silva Wischeropp
I discovered this colourful thistle with its enchanting flowers in a delicate shade of purple during my spring trip to the island of Sicily.
The photo was taken on 23 April 2012 in the afternoon hours with the NIKON D90 camera (lens: Nikkor 18.0-50.0 mm f/2.8).
