A puffin spreads its wing while it has its beak full of silver fish. The bright red and orange of the beak contrasts beautifully with the shiny fish and soft background.
This photo was taken in Scotland, during my annual volunteer work at seabird colonies. There I observe and count the birds, surrounded by thousands of puffins and gulls. It is in those quiet and intense days that I get the chance to capture moments like this.
