Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.

Large pseudo-crater formed from a steam explosion over a lava flow, with large tufts of grass on black volcanic ash and larger areas of grass, in the background a part of Lake Myvatn and a mountain range, grey clouds above, depth effect - Location: Iceland, Norðurland eystra, Lake Myvatn, Skútustaðir, Skútustaðagígar

Story to the picture:
The pseudo-crater Skútustaðagígar at the beautiful Lake Myvatn in northern Iceland was formed by steam explosions over a lava flow. I find the contrast between the yellowish grasses and the deep black volcanic ash particularly attractive. The sweeping view across the lake to the snow-capped mountains is magnificent.
