While cycling around on Rottnest Island in Western Australia we were lucky to come cross quite a few quokkas. Quokkas are small marsupials and by far the cutest and happiest animals in the world. They only live on Rottnest Island and are very much used to people so getting close to them is very easy. Even petting them is possible. We loved seeing this quokka mum protecting her young.
