A proboscis monkey in the trees on the banks of the Sekonyer River in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. The Sekonyer River flows through the heart of Tanjung Puting National Park in Central Kalimantan, an area where many Orangutans still live. These are threatened because this nature reserve is increasingly disturbed by neighboring plantations and the (still) illegal cutting of hardwood.
