About "Primeval forest in the valley of the river Flies"

About the artwork

Biotope in the north of Berlin near the former border to the GDR. 126 square kilometers are drained by the Tegeler Fließ, which meanders through the landscape on Berlin territory with a length of 14.5 kilometers largely close to nature before it flows into the Tegeler See. Extensive meadows as well as alder and gray willow bushes line the river and form one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Berlin. The section of the river valley between Arkenberge and the Humboldt Mill has been declared an FFH and SPA area. Thanks to its structural richness, the area is home to a rich bird life, including several EU-protected species. It is an important habitat for amphibian and reptile species. The Natura 2000 site includes the LSG Tegeler Fließ and three nature reserves (NSG Niedermoorwiesen am Tegeler Fließ, NSG Kalktuffgelände am Tegeler Fließ, both in Pankow, and NSG Tegeler Fließ in Reinickendorf).

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
