Some Broadnose sevengill sharks swim in a kelp forest near Cape Town in South Africa. Sharks of this species live in waters with a temperate climate up to 135 m deep, but these specimen belong to a population that swim against the coast between the kelp forest at a maximum depth of 15 metres.
