About "Prague - Lesser Town Bridge Tower"

About the artwork

The pair of towers form the entrance from the Lesser Town to Charles Bridge.
The smaller tower, also known as the Judith Tower, is a Romanesque building and dates from the beginning of the 12th century. It was part of the medieval fortification of the Lesser Town. The tower is not only older than the Charles Bridge, but was probably also built before its predecessor, the Judith Bridge.
The taller bridge tower was built after 1464 to replace an older Romanesque tower. Its shape echoes the design concept of Parler's Old Town Bridge Tower on the opposite side of the bridge.

Charles Bridge (Karlův most in Czech) is a bridge built over the Vltava River in the 14th century. It connects Prague's Old Town on the right bank with the Lesser Town on the left. It is the oldest preserved bridge over the Vltava and one of the oldest stone bridges in Europe. The bridge was given its current name after Emperor Charles IV in 1870 and is considered a symbol of the city.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
