About the artwork

What makes this horse so unique is its special golden eyes. He is a champagne-coloured Tinker, also called a Gypsy Horse, and you hardly ever see this rare colour in this breed. His warm, light coat combined with the soft pink skin around his nose gives him an almost magical look. But most of all, it is those eyes that continue to fascinate you.

In this photo, I deliberately chose to put the focus entirely on the eye. By keeping the background and the rest of the horse subtly blurred, attention is drawn directly to this one detail. The intensity of his gaze and the reflection of the light really make the eye come alive.

The Tinker is a cold-blooded breed of horse that is traditionally motley, with thick mane, a full tail and distinctive socks. They are known for their friendly nature and used to pull gypsy covered wagons in Britain. However, this stallion has an exceptional colour that makes him extra special.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
