About ‘Portrait of Lange Lijs the Pierrot on a journey.’ by Ineke de Rijk
A watercolour of a pierrot. He sits there sad as a Long Lice on the ground waiting to see if anyone wants to play with him, but Long Lice goes on a journey he flies through the air in search of adventure! Great for a nursery with a soft blue baking frame.

Ineke de Rijk's inspiring travels
From the Algarve to The GambiaI have time to draw and paint more after years of volunteer work for the St. Care Foundation The Gambia. Inspiration I got in the Gambia where I also lived. The colors, the population and life is a great source of inspiration. But also the quieter life now is inspiring to use softer colours and to work more with pastel chalk. But still it's nice to work in all kinds of colours and to try out new techniques and new materials.
