About the artwork

Rouen is the capital of the Normandy region and the Seine-Maritime department. The city is located on the Seine River. It is one of the most important ports in France. The river Seine cuts through the city. The old center is on the right bank (north of the Seine). The industrial area is mainly on the left bank (south of the Seine).

From a park on a hill overlooks the landscape through which the river runs with a view of said industry as factories.

Pierre Léopold Albert (Albert) Marquet (Bordeaux, France, March 27, 1875 - Paris, June 14, 1947) was a French painter, draughtsman, watercolorist and illustrator. He was a co-founder and important representative of Fauvism.

In Paris, he became friends with Henri Matisse. Henri Evenepoel introduced him to the works of Claude Monet, Paul Cézanne, Vincent Van Gogh, Georges Seurat and others. He was carried away by the color experiments of the Fauvists.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
