Port de Sóller is located around 28 kilometers north of Palma and is connected to the neighbouring town of Sóller by a historic streetcar. This tramway, which has been in operation since 1913, runs through lush orange groves and offers visitors picturesque access to this charming port. The port of Sóller is the only protected harbor on the northwest coast of Mallorca and was once a small fishing village.
Today it is a popular tourist destination with over 450 berths for yachts and boats. Some of the harbor facilities date back to the 18th century and are an important starting point for boat trips to nearby attractions such as Sa Calobra and Cala Tuent. Beaches and leisure facilities: Port de Sóller has two main beaches, Platja des Través and Platja en Repic, both of which have fine sand and offer ideal conditions for swimming. The promenade is lined with palm trees, bars and restaurants that invite you to linger. Here, visitors can hire sun loungers and parasols or try out various water sports such as stand-up paddling and canoeing.
