As a photographer, you are always looking for what attracts you in a photo. For me, it was soon clear that the activity in and around the port caught my full attention. The IJmuiden harbour, where many of my images are created, has countless possibilities. Bollards, fishing nets, in fact anything I can find on and at the quay, has the potential for a suitable photograph.
So does this image. here I used long shutter speed. This creates a nice quiet, velvety hue over the water and combined with some fog it makes a mysterious image.
The images ( and thus also this one) are perfect for an abstract interior. This could include an office space, reception area or living room with an abstract design.
Photos were taken with a Canon Eos R including a canon 24-105 mm lens.
