The Porsche 917/20, a then newly built racing hermaphrodite between a short and a long tail version with reworked aerodynamics and a particularly wide body, owes its nickname the "sow" to its pink paintwork and to the meat parts recorded on the body, such as back fat etc. In the race, the car that had won the preparatory race unfortunately dropped out in a very good position. This racing car remained a unique piece!
