This icon of the road, the Pontiac Chieftain, with its beautiful logo in the radiator, is lost, forgotten, perhaps put down waiting for better times. These are the cars's I remember with from the American movies or the car museum. It was a beautiful car, luxurious for its time, not exactly economical to run. A beautiful car, even now when rust overcomes the paint, it remains beautiful to look at. Stately, but forgotten, blue in colour, but for how long, weeds beside it, but how long will it be before it is overgrown? The Pontiac Chieftain is a car produced by Pontiac from 1949 to 1958. The 1949 Chieftain and Streamliner models were the first all-new car designs to come from Pontiac in the years following the Twe
ed World War. Earlier car's were models from 1942 with minor revisions.
An example of a classic car. I hope someone finds the courage to save this car yet, if it is still possible at least.
