It was a crisp September morning when I set off for Tegelberg in the first light of day. Autumn was in the air, the colours of nature were beginning to change as the sun slowly rose above the horizon. In the distance, I caught sight of the pilgrimage church of St Coloman, quiet and graceful in the middle of the Königswinkel, surrounded by a delicate veil of mist that bathed the landscape in a mysterious light.
The ground mist seemed to glide over the fields like a veil, enveloping the church and lending it an almost mystical aura. The silhouette of the white walls barely stood out against the soft grey of the fog, and yet it was impossible to miss - a symbol of faith rising like a lighthouse out of the silence. The surrounding mountains, still caught in the darkness of the night, were barely recognisable, but the first rays of the sun caught the peaks and gave them a delicate glow.
This moment, in which nature and man merged in perfect harmony, was like a painting unfolding before my eyes. The mist that enveloped the landscape created an atmosphere of peace and devotion, and I felt a deep connection with this magical place.
