About the artwork

Parallèlement is the title of Paul Verlaine's seventh collection of poetry in verse, published in 1889 by publisher Léon Vanier, then enriched in 1894.

Like earlier collections such as Jadis et naguère, this work brings together pieces composed very earlier and very different in their inspiration (erotic poetry of the friends as opposed to the prison world described in the poems of the rest of Cellular).

In this portrait, a woman lies naked on her back on the bed, while a second girl sits naked on the edge. The second nude model is looking into the mirror in this nude portrait. The image of the two women is not an image of two lesbians.

The front lesbian is in the picture with legs, hip, stomach, torso and breasts. The second naked woman has buttocks and back bared.

All in all, a sexy and sensual erotic picture with romance.

Pierre Bonnard (Fontenay-aux-Roses, October 3, 1867 - Le Cannet, January 23, 1947) was a French painter and printmaker and founding member of Les Nabis.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
