Long-shutter speed shot taken at Blankenberge pier on the Belgian coast. Blankenberge pier was built in 1933 to a design by Jules Soete. It is made of concrete and protrudes 350 metres into the North Sea. The Blankenberge pier was the first on the Atlantic coast of continental Europe and has since been joined only by Scheveningen.
