About "Piece of Earth"

About the artwork

With "Piece of Earth" I would like to address the issue that the resources on earth are not infinite, but that we consume these finite resources faster year after year. Here are some examples that should make you think. Human resource consumption has led to an increase in carbon dioxide emissions, which contribute to global warming and climate change. Humanity consumes large amounts of water for various purposes such as agriculture, industry and personal use. This has implications for the availability of freshwater resources. The extraction and use of raw materials such as oil, gas, metals and minerals have a significant impact on the environment. This includes habitat destruction, pollution of water and soil, and depletion of limited resources. The increasing production of consumer goods leads to an increase in waste generation. The disposal and recycling of waste is challenging and has an impact on the environment and health. Given the challenges of resource consumption, sustainable use and efficient management of resources is of great importance. Measures such as recycling, energy saving and environmentally friendly production processes are important steps in this direction.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
