About the artwork

Chevrolet Truck
Apart from some functional changes in the 1949s, the 1948-1949 Chevrolet truck was similar to the 1947 model, and in fact, Chevy's 1948 trucks were almost identical to the '47's. To create more legroom for middle passengers in the 3100s and 3600s, the gear shift lever moved to the steering column and the parking brake was activated by a pedal controlled by the driver's left foot, as with Buicks. At midnight the inside of the handle was reversed: you now pull up to open the door.

A switch of cast to precision main bearings was made to increase the durability of the engine, half tons of models got heavier front leaf springs and the four-speed gearbox was now fully synchronized. Otherwise, with Advance-Design trucks selling fast, there was not much incentive for change.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
