Striking colourful image which was originally a great macro shot of a blue dragonfly and th detail in the wings still stands out.
Initially it was a difficult image to take as they very rarely stay still long enough to get a good shot. I used a 400mm zoom lens on continuous shutter to get ot right.
I was going through my images one day and thought how cam I change the look of this one so started trying different filters and finishes and ot his result.Listening to Pink Floyd at the time may have been an influence. I think it would brighten up any wall/room and attract a lot of attention. The strong colours should compliment most backgrounds. It would more than likely fit into modern decorated large room as a centre piece.
