About this work:
The Koppelpoort is a combination of a land and water gate and could be closed by means of a double treadmill. In the Middle Ages, the gate was opened and closed every day by prisoners, quite appropriately called ringleaders. Probably the most photographed spot in Amersfoort, as far as I am concerned for good reason.
About a photo sketch:
Photos that turn into a sketch produce an interesting image. From colour to black and white, the whole thing in black and white or just everything in colour. Everything is possible. Would you like to have a photo sketch of your own photo? Of your dream house, your car or perhaps a self-portrait? I can do this for you. In that case, contact me via my website www.jeroenberendse.nl.
About Jeroen Berendse:
In daily life, I am a marketer. That means listening and watching customers carefully and using that knowledge to come up with relevant solutions. As a photographer, I actually do the same thing, with the difference that I listen to myself especially well.
Photography is a way of telling a story. Shaped into the perfect still image. A good photo takes your mind to a special place in the world, an event that makes you smile or puts your creative mind to work. And because this is very personal, the same photo evokes a different experience and feeling in everyone. In the photographer but also in the viewer.
My portfolio contains photos of many different subjects. You can find my complete portfolio in my shop at Werk aan de Muur and on my website www.jeroenberendse.nl.
Photography is more than the perfect still image, a captivating photograph tells a story that touches the viewer in a personal way... Read more…
