About ‘Peugeot 203’ by Yvonne Blokland

The Peugeot 203 is the first post-war model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot. Between 1949, production-end of the 202, and 1954, the launch of 403, it was the only model of Peugeot.

It was a strikingly modern, streamlined car, the first Peugeot with self-supporting structure. The 1290 cc four cylinder «super-square" engine that produced 42 horsepower was redesigned. In a later version increased to 45 hp and capable of a top speed of 120 km / h could be achieved. Other innovations were the axle steering, the synchronized four-speed gearbox and independent rear suspension.

Race Success [edit]
203 had great success in endurance rides. In 1953 defeated Andre Mercier and Charles de Cortanze within 17 days of a race from Paris to Cape Town (15,000 km), which also underlined the economy of the car: With a full tank you took 900 km.

In the same year was held the Redex race in Australia, which was also won. All eleven started trucks also arrived, which drew the Peugeot name on this continent.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
