About ‘Peony in watercolour’ by Kristin M

A fully opened peony in delicate watercolour – its petals unfurl in lush layers of pink, peach, mauve and warm beige, whilst the bright golden stamen at the centre serves as a radiant focal point. The transparency typical of watercolour comes into its own here: the colours flow into one another, overlap and create a depth reminiscent of the watercolour washes of the Impressionists. Scattered splashes of gold and dark umber enliven the surface and lend the work an organic, almost random vitality. At the bottom edge of the picture, turquoise leaf details stand out – a surprising accent in the otherwise warm colour scheme. The light background allows the blossom to float freely, as if it had detached itself from the stem and now existed solely as a pure entity of colour. A painting of romantic abundance and watercolour mastery that radiates warmth and femininity.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
