The mountain village of Peille is located in the hinterland of the Cote d'Azur. Like many of the other mountain villages, the houses are very often attached to each other, bridging the differences in height in different ways. On this work you can see a stone staircase on the left that gives access to a his that is built between two streets. Flower pots with, among other things, lavender adorn the stairs. On the right side of the work is a romantic gate that can be seen under the house. As with almost all houses, the windows are covered with louvered window doors.
