The first time an eagle owl settled in the Netherlands (after a long time) was in 1973. This eagle owl lived in the Donkere Duinen, a pine forest near Den Helder. It is unclear whether this bird was released or spontaneously flew in. The eagle owl was shot in 1981 by an unknown person. The animal was wounded and handed over to Artis and died during surgery due to a broken wing. In the Netherlands the eagle owl has definitively gained a foothold in Limburg since 1997 without help from humans. Presumably there is a spontaneous migration from Germany. In 2002 they settled in Gelderland. In 2004, there were six breeding pairs in the Netherlands. In 2010 settlement in Overijssel followed and in the following year also in North Brabant. In 2014, the total number of breeding pairs in The Netherlands was estimated between 21 and 23.[
I love to go out into nature and do landscapes and macro photography.
and also likes to follow Workshops to create unique footage,
I would also be very honoured if my work were to hang on the wall at your place to add a little more colour to your interior...
